I am currently the Operations Manager for OceanWorks, a Burnaby B.C. organization in the subsea technology sector.
I have worked in aerospace machining and manufacturing, telecommunications, defence design and manufacturing (subsea technologies, electronics) in various management roles including quality, manufacturing, supply chain and materials, regulatory compliance, industrial security, information technology, and contracts. I was also a business owner in the software services sector, and an instructor at UBC as part of their continuing studies software engineering program.
My educational background includes a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of British Columbia. I hold a Master Black Belt in Lean, as well as Lean Green Belt and Black Belt certifications.
My interests outside of work include running, road cycling, mountain biking, speed skating, cooking, craft beer (including brewing beer), and traveling.
